About the role
We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Glen Burnie, MD.
Responsibilities
- Completing repair activities on generators or components
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain detailed records of service
- Adequate to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation
- Maintain own tools
Requirements
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products
- Basic Diesel Engine experience
- Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
Qualifications
- Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Current relevant electrical certification

Schedule
Monday-Friday 7am-4:00pm subject to change depending on business needs
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Current relevant electrical certification
Other Requirements
- Locally valid driving permit
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
- Experience Basic level field service work experience
- Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products
- High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
- A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
- Hours of operation our Monday-Friday 7am-4:00pm subject to change depending on business needs
