About the role
We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician to join our team specializing in Power Generation in Memphis, TN. This role offers a $5000 sign-on bonus!
Key Responsibilities
- Engages with customer in a courteous and professional manner.
- Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.
- Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Completes training in line with skill and business requirements.
- Ensures adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor.

Qualifications
- Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Current relevant electrical certification
- Locally valid driving permit
Experience
- Minimal level of workshop related experience required
- Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
- High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
Location
- This position will cover the Memphis area within a 150 mile Radius for Power Generation.
- This position requires CDL for transporting oil in TN. Can obtain after hire.
Requirements
- CDL for transporting oil in TN (required after hire)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- 3 years driving experience
- 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Must be 21 years of age
- State of Tennessee EPA requires a CDL to transport oil, this role requires a CDL due to EPA requirements
- Not subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing
