About the role

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician to join our team specializing in Power Generation in Memphis, TN. This role offers a $5000 sign-on bonus!

Key Responsibilities

  • Engages with customer in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.
  • Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Completes training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Current relevant electrical certification
  • Locally valid driving permit

Experience

  • Minimal level of workshop related experience required
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
  • High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience

Location

  • This position will cover the Memphis area within a 150 mile Radius for Power Generation.
  • This position requires CDL for transporting oil in TN. Can obtain after hire.

Requirements

  • CDL for transporting oil in TN (required after hire)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3 years driving experience
  • 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
  • Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • State of Tennessee EPA requires a CDL to transport oil, this role requires a CDL due to EPA requirements
  • Not subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing

Pay and Schedule

  • Min Salary: $23.46
  • Max Salary: $35.19
