Field Service Millwright

About the role

JPR Industries is seeking a Field Service Millwright to troubleshoot issues, keep equipment running, and handle repairs and maintenance in real facility conditions. You’ll work on agricultural and material-handling systems supporting feed mills, feed lots, and large farm operations across Southern Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and complete on-site repairs for agricultural and material-handling equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, shutdown work, and equipment inspections
• Install, adjust, and align components (bearings, shafts, drives, conveyors, guards, etc.)
• Support troubleshooting for downtime situations and help restore operations quickly
• Communicate clearly with the service team and provide straightforward updates to customers

Requirements

• Millwright/industrial maintenance experience (ticketed preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills in the field
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused communication
• Experience in agricultural facilities (feed mills, grain handling, material handling systems)
• Welding ability for field repairs
• Forklift/telehandler/scissor lift tickets
• Confined space / fall protection / first aid / H2S certifications (or willingness to obtain)
