Field Service Mechanic / Hydraulic Hose Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing hydraulic issues on construction and industrial equipment.
• Building and installing hydraulic hoses on-site.
• Verifying repairs to ensure equipment functionality with no leaks.
• Providing exceptional customer service and fostering customer relationships.
• Collaborating with existing customers and generating leads for new business.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical background, preferably with construction equipment experience.
• Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot under pressure.
• Works effectively outdoors in varying conditions, including extreme weather and challenging terrains.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Possesses a clean driving record and passes a background check.
• Owns or acquires the necessary tools prior to completion of training.

• Proven mechanical experience, especially with heavy construction equipment.

Schedule

• Work out of a fully equipped service van.
• Visit customer sites to diagnose hydraulic faults, remove and replace faulty hoses, and ensure the equipment is back in optimal working condition.
