SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY

The Field Services Manager at Allied Interior Solutions is the first point of contact, responsible for coordinating all aspects of the installation of multi-family cabinetry projects. The primary duties for this position include managing and submitting sub-contractor invoices and being a strong liaison between the client and the AIS. This candidate will be working in the Midwest area covering Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota, Kentucky etc.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinating delivery and installation with clients.
  • Approve and submit subcontractor invoices/draws for payment.
  • Maintain competent installers and ensure paperwork is complete and timely.
  • Anticipate and resolve client issues.
  • Attending client mandated meetings as required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the client and all departments in AIS.
  • Commit to being highly visible on job sites.

Qualifications (Education, Certifications and/or Training)

  • Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Preferred Education: None.
  • Required Experience: Three Years Construction Experience.
  • PREFERRED Experience: At least One Year Experience in Construction Management.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, Ability and Mental Requirements

  • Knowledge: Understanding of cabinetry manufacturing processes, materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Understanding financial reports, setting budgets, and making necessary adjustments to keep the company profitable.
  • Understanding and ensuring the company’s compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Skills: Ability to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a manufacturing establishment or of a production department within a manufacturing establishment.
  • Excellent customer service skills to deal with clients’ inquiries and complaints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication with clients, staff, and management.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems that arise in the manufacturing and delivery process.
  • Ability to manage one’s own time and the time of others effectively.
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers and clients to meet the company’s objectives.
  • Basic Computer Skills such as MS Office Suite.

Physical Demands

  • Manual Dexterity Required to manipulate standard office peripherals.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather.
  • Ability to work at unfinished construction sites.
  • Ability to drive for long periods within a designated service area.
