FIELD SERVICE MANAGER (32838)

About the Role

Coordinates the day-to-day service business at the local level as a working supervisor. Directly oversees technicians and service support team, ensuring a hassle-free experience for customers, including the rental department. Implements and adheres to company-wide processes and procedures to maintain a consistent "Equipment Depot way" of doing business. Collaborates with the Operations Manager to achieve business objectives through improved skills, professionalism, and efficiencies within the service operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the team performs with a positive attitude and a great sense of urgency to exceed customer expectations.
• Monitors and ensures service KPIs (efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction) are consistently met.
• Assists the Service/Operations Manager in handling disciplinary issues involving personnel.
• Works with the Service/Operations Manager to implement short- and long-term strategic plans, objectives, and goals for the location.
• Handles customer requests promptly and professionally.
• Assists the Service/Operations Manager in addressing customer concerns and complaints.
• Completes performance reviews for all team members as required.
• Assists in recruiting and developing the service team.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years’ experience working within a service department.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Well-organized with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in varied environments, including office, job sites, and industrial locations.
