About the role

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing service and repair to a variety of medical imaging equipment, including Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and X-ray systems. This position involves regular travel and requires basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of radiological equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of radiological equipment.
  • Completing Preventive Maintenance and modifications.
  • Setup, calibration, QC and QA of the customer’s equipment according to OEM specifications.
  • Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
  • Working as a member of Assured Imaging’s team as well as being able to work independently, to provide efficient service.
  • Adhering to current regulatory requirements to include, but not limited to, HIPPA, OSHA and FDA.
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or Radiology OEM training, Electrical, Technology, equivalent military experience or Associates Degree with 2 or more years’ experience in servicing Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
  • Experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
  • Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Able to work productively in a pressurized environment.
  • Must be able to travel.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Must have experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Must have experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
  • Must have proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
  • Must have resourcefulness, the ability to work independently, strong time management skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Must have attention to detail and decision-making, problem-resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must be able to work productively in a pressurized environment.
  • Must be able to travel.

Skills
