About the role
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing service and repair to a variety of medical imaging equipment, including Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and X-ray systems. This position involves regular travel and requires basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of radiological equipment.
Responsibilities
- Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of radiological equipment.
- Completing Preventive Maintenance and modifications.
- Setup, calibration, QC and QA of the customer’s equipment according to OEM specifications.
- Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
- Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
- Working as a member of Assured Imaging’s team as well as being able to work independently, to provide efficient service.
- Adhering to current regulatory requirements to include, but not limited to, HIPPA, OSHA and FDA.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or Radiology OEM training, Electrical, Technology, equivalent military experience or Associates Degree with 2 or more years’ experience in servicing Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
- Experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
- Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
- Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills.
- Able to work productively in a pressurized environment.
- Must be able to travel.
Qualifications
- Must have experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Must have experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must have experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
- Must have proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Must have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
- Must have resourcefulness, the ability to work independently, strong time management skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Must have attention to detail and decision-making, problem-resolution and creative thinking skills.
