Field Service Engineer - Medical Imaging

About the role

Field-based position installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites nationwide, with a primary focus on the Northwest region. You will build strong customer relationships, deliver excellent service, and contribute to service revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electronic, mechanical, and network issues on diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs.
• Complete administrative tasks in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with regional teams to improve processes and expand technical skills.
• Travel extensively (up to 90%), including overnight and nationwide travel.

Requirements

• 1+ years of diagnostic imaging service experience or 3+ years in electromechanical service.
• Knowledge of X-Ray, Cath Labs, or Image-Guided therapy equipment preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude in electronics, mechanics, and networking.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet physical and environmental demands of fieldwork, including working in healthcare settings and remote locations.
• Residence within the territory (Northern CA, WA, or OR) near a major airport required.
