About the role

This full-time position is based in Hillsboro, OR, and involves the decontamination and decommissioning of semiconductor equipment, specifically Kokusai Vertical Furnaces.

Responsibilities

  • Removal of chamber kits and fore lines
  • Safely perform all necessary purging of both gas and liquid lines
  • Pump purging of gas lines
  • Flush, drain, and blow out residual liquids
  • Disconnect and cap all gas and liquid lines
  • Perform complete tool shutdown
  • Power off all systems and related subcomponents
  • Follow all Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and customer procedures
  • Conduct daily pre-task planning with the customer
  • Document all decontamination activities (2D - Decon checklist)
  • Report the status of Decon/Demo projects
  • Follow all customer safety protocols, including LOTO and PPE

Requirements

  • Kokusai Vertical Furnace Decon/Demo experience
  • Knowledge of Decon/Install/Deinstall on OEM equipment
  • Minimum of 5+ years of OEM direct experience on one or more of the following (preferred): Kokusai Vertical Furnace
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment

Physical Effort/Activities

  • May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day and be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time
  • Occasionally climb ladders while utilizing fall protection
  • Ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Some tasks may require wearing a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator for short periods (10-15 minutes) while working with chemicals

PPE made available includes safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, and more.

Pay

$35-$48 hourly, with a $1000.00 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
