Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of experience in field service roles involving installation, alignment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy industrial equipment
- In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in field service roles involving installation, alignment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy industrial equipment
- Specific skills required:
- 5 years of experience with mechanical or electrical instruments such as remote temperature sensors
- 5 years of experience with Mill drives, bearings, girth gears, pinions, and lubrication systems
- 5 years of experience with Alignment techniques such as laser alignment, dial indicators, or coupling checks
- 5 years of experience with Vibration analysis and condition monitoring methods
- 3 years of experience reading and interpreting imperial and metric tape measures, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, engineering and architectural drawings
- 3 years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems related to mill maintenance
- Up to 70% domestic travel to unanticipated locations with extended duration (1-6 week)
- Ability to work remotely anywhere in the United States
