Evaluations and Support
- Evaluate components, subsystems, test equipment, and software
- Provide technical support to Air Force customers on operations and maintenance of assigned communications/surveillance equipment
- Support aircraft flight test and engineering evaluations of new systems and system configurations
- Deploy worldwide with AFSOC personnel in support of exercise and contingency operations including hostile environments
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of aircraft avionics maintenance experience, JTWS equipment experience, or equivalent
- DoD SIGINT experience
- Must be able to operate as a single maintainer at either CONUS or OCONUS locations to include hostile areas
Desired Skills
- Eight plus years of experience with AFSOC, AF or DoD SIGINT/COMINT, EW, Guidance & Control or Comm/Nav systems
- Knowledge of AF and AFSOC organizational structure
- Knowledge of DoD SIGINT/COMINT employment concepts
- Familiarity with USAF, AFSOC aircraft maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures
- CompTIA Security+ certified or within 12 months

Performing a variety of technical functions in support of engineering activities such as troubleshooting, test, modification, assembly, and maintenance and repair of electronic systems and other specialized avionics equipment.
