About the role
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) supports Mizuho OSI, a leader in specialty surgery and patient positioning solutions. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, providing customer training, and supporting company programs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair Mizuho products in customer sites.
- Conduct preventive maintenance as required.
- Create and deliver accurate quotes based on company guidelines.
- Complete service documentation for regulatory requirements.
- Operate systems to demonstrate equipment and analyze malfunctions.
- Consult with R&D and/or Manufacturing Engineering personnel.
- Train and instruct customers on proper use of products.
- Manage inventory and replenish trunk stock.
- Interact with various departments to meet account performance objectives.
- Provide advice to management on customer satisfaction and product performance.
- Ensure compliance with Mizuho OSI's internal Quality System policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 4 years of related experience and high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other technical references.
- Proficiency using established service reporting computer systems interfacing with CRM systems.
- Basic email, word processing, and troubleshooting computer programs.
- Able to provide a valid driver's license and qualify for company's auto insurance policy.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
- Must live in the designated territory of responsibility.
- Able to work nights or weekends when requested.
- Able to participate in required training and successfully certify on all product training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation, project, and organizational skills.
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions, create and reconcile reports, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Establish and accomplish goals independently and function as a positive and productive team member.
Qualifications
- Must live in the designated territory of responsibility.
- Able to travel extensively about 50% and cover travel expenses and submit reimbursements in accordance with company policy.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Pay
$80,000 - $90,000 + quarterly bonuses + comprehensive benefits package + company vehicle
