Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on major diagnostic equipment, including the Grifols Panther, Xpress, Erytra, and Eflexis platforms.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing technical expert, ensuring equipment reliability and maximizing customer satisfaction within hospitals and laboratories.
- Manage your service territory (primarily Queensland with occasional interstate travel to New South Wales), balancing regular travel requirements with efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with your Supervisor and the broader service team to share technical insights, coordinate scheduling, and maintain high standards of teamwork.
- Document all service activities, maintenance reports, and technical interventions accurately in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within a medical, hospital, or laboratory environment.
- A strong technical passion for instruments and servicing complex machinery.
- Mindset: Highly energetic, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a dedicated team player with excellent customer-facing communication skills.
Qualifications
- A degree or background in Electrical Engineering (or a Master's degree) is highly regarded but not mandatory.
- A valid Australian driver’s license and the flexibility to travel across assigned territories are required.
