Evaluations and Support
- Evaluate components, subsystems, test equipment, and software
- Provide technical support to Air Force customers on operations and maintenance of assigned communications/surveillance equipment
- Support aircraft flight test and engineering evaluations of new systems and system configurations
- Aid in training junior level electronics technicians and Air Force personnel on general fabrication, assembly, test and evaluation, and documentation tasks
Requirements
- Minimum of four years’ aircraft avionics maintenance experience, JTWS equipment experience, or equivalent
- Must be able to operate as a single maintainer at either CONUS or OCONUS locations to include hostile areas
Desired Skills
- Eight plus years of experience with AFSOC, AF or DoD SIGINT/COMINT, EW, Guidance & Control or Comm/Nav systems
- Knowledge of AF and AFSOC organizational structure
- Knowledge of DoD SIGINT/COMINT employment concepts, familiarity with USAF, AFSOC aircraft maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures
- CompTIA Security+ certified
