What You Will Do
- Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting on substation and electrical equipment
- Support construction activities including cable work, conduit, grounding, terminations, and equipment assembly
- Assist with circuit breakers, relay panels, transformers, and related substation components
- Use and maintain field tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Participate in outages, safety meetings, training, and emergency response as needed
- Complete assigned field duties and support customer project requirements

- Work is completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Equipment and jobsite standards are maintained
- Documentation and reporting are completed properly
- CUSTOMERS AND TEAM MEMBERS RECEIVE DEPENDABLE SUPPORT
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical substation construction experience required
- Apprenticeship training is a plus
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of applicable safety and industry standards
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment
- Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in demanding field environments
Work Environment And Physical Requirements
- Must be willing to relocate within 60 miles of the hiring regional office
- Must be able to work outdoors, travel overnight, and work extended hours as needed
- Must be able to lift, climb, stoop, shovel, and perform physical field work
Other Requirements
- Must be able to pass background, drug, alcohol, and motor vehicle screenings
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing to obtain required safety and site certifications
