Field Service Calibration Technician - Mechanical & Physical / Dimensional

ENI Labs, an ATS company, provides calibration services in industries such as medical, defense, and general manufacturing to ensure the accuracy of various instruments and tools.

About the role

ENI Labs is seeking a Dimensional Calibration Technician to perform precision calibrations and measurements on dimensional equipment in accordance with internal procedures and customer requirements. This role focuses on accurate measurement execution, proper documentation, and supporting both laboratory and onsite calibration activities. This is a full-time position located in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and verification of dimensional measurement equipment, including:
  • Bore gages, thread gages, and measuring tapes
  • Gage blocks and pin gages
  • Calipers, micrometers, height gages
  • Dial indicators and test indicators
• Operate precision measurement systems, including:
  • Surface plates
  • Optical comparators
  • Universal Measuring Machines (UMM), including Labmaster systems (e.g., LMU)
  • Supermicrometers / bench micrometers
• Perform measurements in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
• Record and document measurement results accurately in calibration software (e.g., IndySoft).
• Interpret basic specifications and tolerances to determine pass/fail results.
• Identify and report out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Maintain proper handling, care, and storage of standards and customer equipment.
• Support onsite calibration work at customer facilities.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
