Location: Long Island, NY

Unique Opportunity: Electrical/Mechanical Controls apprentice with a starting base salary of $50,000, paid travel expenses, a $61 per diem, and full employee benefits during the first year (with growth in income after successful completion of qualifications).

Requirements

• Ability to travel about 80-100% of the time during apprenticeship program
• 24 to 36 month commitment to program
• Mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/robotics/etc.
• Like working with your hands and have a mechanical aptitude
• Electrical knowledge
• Basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting required for position
• (Mechanical/electrical knowledge does not need to be limited to printing equipment)
• Basic computer skills are important
• 3-year program with the potential to advance or graduate sooner
• Must be 21+ years old due to travel and car policy

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent
• Hand Tools: 1 Year
• Electrical: 1 Year (Preferred)

Skills

• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to analyze complex situations and arrive at sound conclusions
