As a Field Service Administrator for Wastech Systems & Ovivo Electronics USA, you will support the Wastech Field Service team in Chatsworth by providing professional administrative and operational support to the Field Service Manager and field service team.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize daily work activities, adapting to changing business needs and priorities as directed by the Field Service Manager.
  • Obtain pricing quotations from vendors and suppliers and prepare material requests.
  • Enter material request information into Syteline and generate purchase orders.
  • Support the quoting process and assist with entering new parts and service offerings into Syteline.
  • Prepare, format, and produce technical reports, correspondence, memos, and other business documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and regional offices to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key contacts across departments and locations.
  • Establish, maintain, and update department filing systems and databases, including training certifications, calibration records, and related documentation.
  • Support special projects and assignments as requested by management.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate office supply inventory to support departmental operations.
  • Prepare and coordinate small package and envelope shipments.
  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

  • Location: Chatsworth
  • Work Schedule: Standard business hours; schedule may vary based on business needs.
  • Travel: Minimal travel required, primarily for training purposes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of administrative experience in a production, manufacturing, engineering, design firm, field service, or related environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Syteline ERP software.
  • Postsecondary education, university coursework, or a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience supporting field service, manufacturing, industrial, or technical operations teams.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Experience maintaining databases, records management systems, and technical documentation.

Pay

Annual or hourly compensation range: $26.00–$30.00/hr. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, and geography.
