About the role
XDS Bicycles is seeking a Field Sales Representative to establish the brand in North America. The role involves visiting bike shops, introducing XDS, opening new accounts, and building relationships.
Responsibilities
- Visit bike shops regularly to introduce XDS, open new accounts, and grow relationships
- Possess strong prospecting skills within your territory, including cold walk-ins
- Train shop staff on product and positioning
- Keep a pulse on competitors, pricing, and local market dynamics
- Represent XDS in a professional, consistent way
Requirements
- Experience in the cycling industry and with bicycle shops (mandatory)
- 5+ years of territory/regional sales experience built on relationships, not just inbound leads
- Ability to build interest and convert into sales
- Comfort and flexibility with traveling, opening doors, and starting conversations in person
- Strong organization and follow up skills
- Background or interest in cycling or performance sports
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working remotely while maintaining a remote office in Santa Monica, CA
- Must be able to travel to the assigned territory, which includes California, Oregon, and Washington
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and convert prospects into customers
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Knowledge of the cycling industry and bicycle shops
Benefits
- Salary plus commission structure (expected OTE $125k)
