Field Sales Representative – Home Care
The Role
As a Field Sales Representative, you will spend the majority of your time in the field—connecting directly with families, referral sources, and community partners. You will play a key role in expanding our client base by identifying needs, building trust, and guiding families through the process of joining our home care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and connect with individuals and families who need home care services
- Build trust, handle objections, and close new client service agreements
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and results
- Attend community events, networking opportunities, and outreach activities
- Analyze territory data to identify high-potential prospects
- Create and execute weekly field sales and outreach plans
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager on strategies to improve performance
- Oversee documentation and ensure all new hires complete the required onboarding modules and regulatory paperwork
- Conduct quarterly check-in calls with active clients to evaluate satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement
- Guide the onboarding journey for new caregivers and clients to ensure a seamless and welcoming transition into the agency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the home care industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust quickly with clients and families
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Professional appearance and a compassionate, service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Flexibility with working hours when needed
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Willingness to travel within and across assigned territories
