Job Responsibilities
- Manages and coaches a team of sales representatives.
- Conducts effective one-on-one sales meetings with sales representatives.
- Develops and reviews performance enhancement plans for each sales representative.
- Addresses any skill deficiencies of sales representatives.
- Participates in the associate interview and selection process.
- Maintains relationships with key accounts and identifies account opportunities.
- Sells-in resents of stores and manages open territories.
- Sells-in resents of stores and manages open territories.
- Resolves customer complaints.
- Coordinates supplier ride-withs.
- Manages supplier surveys.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in sales.
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills.
- Multi-tasks, works independently, pays attention to detail, and meets deadlines.
- Analytical and reporting skills.
- Utilizes sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
Competencies
- May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.
- Solves issues which are often varied and non-routine.
- Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.
Pay
- Annual Base Salary: $64,000
- Annual Car Allowance: $6,000
- Eligible for annual bonus and full benefits.
