Sales Responsibilities
- 12-14 in-person sales calls per week
- Meeting with customers to discuss projects, equipment offered, and meeting customer needs
- Taking notes during sales calls to ensure all necessary data is collected for proper equipment sizing
- Describing customer processes to engineering team for proper equipment sizing
- Writing complete proposals with a detailed scope of supply
- Updating Salesforce daily with: Sales call information, new opportunities, customer contact info, upcoming meetings and events
- Following up with customers on open opportunities and as they approach purchasing decisions
- Providing order write-ups, cost sheets, proposals, and purchase orders upon receipt
- Continually learning about equipment features, functions, and benefits
- Managing projects from a high-level perspective to maintain customer updates
- Leading teams with a positive attitude
Qualifications/Experience/Competencies
- Ability to comfortably speak with customers
- Four-year higher education degree in Engineering preferred
- Five years of related experience
- Strong work ethic
- Motivated work style
- Effective communication skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Resides within specified geographical territory (listed counties)
