Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Hellmann solutions and service sales across all product lines, with a focus on Air Freight and Ocean Freight, within the assigned territory and customer base.
- Proactively drive new business through strategic “hunter” sales activity, building relationships and effectively qualifying prospects to secure profitable opportunities.
- Develop and grow a customer portfolio aligned with the capabilities and objectives of local Product and Operations leadership.
- Manage the full sales cycle, ensuring all activities, opportunities, and updates are accurately maintained in the CRM system on a daily basis (required).
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers and maintain consistent communication with clients and Hellmann Operations to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates to management on market trends, customer activity, and business development opportunities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 4–5 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding, or at least 2 years of operational experience within logistics.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, systems, and supply chain solutions.
- Experience with CRM platforms preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to manage relationships, stay highly organized, and maintain attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Able to travel within the assigned territory (50% or more); valid driver’s license required.
