What’s the Job?

Support Safety & Health programs by engaging with field personnel to promote compliance and reinforce safety best practices. Serve as a visible safety leader in the field, coaching and mentoring employees and contractors to strengthen the site's safety culture. Conduct safety walks, hazard identification assessments, and assist in the resolution of safety findings. Assist with the implementation and execution of SSH&E programs, including start work checks, risk assessments, and toolbox talks. Participate in incident investigations and support site recognition and safety rewards programs.

What’s Needed?

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably supporting large industrial or construction projects.
  • Associate degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent field experience.
  • OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications (or higher-level safety training).
  • Experience with lifting and rigging, crane operations, confined spaces, working at heights, and work permitting processes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills; TWIC card, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation required.

About the Role

The Field Safety Technician supports the Safety & Health Department, focusing on operations, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams across the facility. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, aligning with the organization's goals.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably supporting large industrial or construction projects.
