About the role
As a Ramp Safety Supervisor, you'll ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment. This role is responsible for driving employee safety initiatives, maintaining regulatory compliance, and reinforcing best practices across daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a positive safety culture across ramp and operational teams
- Coach employees on safe work practices and identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits to prevent injuries and equipment damage
- Facilitate safety meetings and training sessions
- Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and operational events
- Develop and implement action plans to improve safety performance
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit readiness
- Work closely with airline partners and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and operational excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in safety, operations, aviation, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, warehousing, or a related environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
