Field Safety Specialist (Bilingual English/Spanish)

About the role

This position will support and promote a culture of safety across construction and installation job sites. The Field Safety Specialist works directly with the Director of Safety, field employees, subcontractors, and customers to ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to conduct safety training, orientations, incident investigations, and daily communication with both English- and Spanish-speaking employees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job-site safety inspections and audits
• Assist with safety orientations and toolbox talks
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries
• Assist with OSHA compliance and recordkeeping
• Partner with field supervisors to identify and correct hazards
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices
• Maintain safety documentation and reports
• Attend safety-related meetings with General Contractors and subcontractors
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Field construction experience preferred
• Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines under pressure alone or as part of a team
• Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion
