Field Safety Representative II-Phoenix
Summary
The Field Safety Representative II promotes the Company's IIF culture by ensuring every co-worker returns home safely every night. They are expected to spend 100% of time in the field observing and coaching co-workers on correction of unsafe conditions and behaviors. They may supervise lower level Field Safety Representatives and Coordinators. They reinforce positive behavior through recognition and/or rewards. They serve as a resource to co-workers by answering questions about safety and sharing lessons learned. They embed themselves with the project team and strategically "dive in" using a hands-on approach to improve project safety, quality, and productivity (SQP).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Promotes the Company's IIF Culture by Bringing a Safety Resource on the Project
- Affords Assistance in Project Compliance with All Safety Rules and Regulations
- Affords Assistance with or Conducts Case Management
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment
- Participates in Training/Certifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (safety related major) and a minimum of 2 years concrete construction and safety experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must obtain OSHA 30 hour certification within 3 months.
