Field Safety Representative II

Summary

The Field Safety Representative II promotes the Company's IIF culture by ensuring every co-worker returns home safely every night. They are expected to spend 100% of time in the field observing and coaching co-workers on correction of unsafe conditions and behaviors. They may supervise lower level Field Safety Representatives and Coordinators. They reinforce positive behavior through recognition and/or rewards. They serve as a resource to co-workers by answering questions about safety and sharing lessons learned. They embed themselves with the project team and use a hands-on approach to improve project safety, quality, and productivity (SQP).

Roles and Responsibilities

The Field Safety Representative II will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform the role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. • Promotes the Company's IIF Culture by Bringing a Safety Resource on the Project
• Affords Assistance in Project Compliance with All Safety Rules and Regulations
• Affords Assistance with or Conducts Case Management
• Ensures a Safe Work Environment
• Participates in Training/Certifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (safety related major) and a minimum of 2 years concrete construction and safety experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must obtain OSHA 30 hour certification within 3 months.

This position is located only in Telluride, Colorado.

The Salary range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000.
