About the role

The Field Safety Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring safety protocols are adhered to during construction projects. They collaborate with various teams to maintain a safe work environment and participate in developing comprehensive safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of the safety program.
• Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees.
• Collaborate with operations and safety staff to ensure safe operations.
• Assist in mitigating potential safety hazards and compliance issues.
• Communicate effectively to prevent incidents and improve safety standards.
• Travel to different work locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or BCSP credentials.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction or safety in the general industry.
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements related to civil construction.
