Field Roof Inspector - (Memphis, TN)

About the role

Hancock Claims Consultants is dedicated to providing efficient claims management services through direct collaboration with insurance agencies. As an independent contractor, you will join our dynamic field team, responsible for assessing property damage on steep and high roofs, evaluating both exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections.

Responsibilities

- Conduct assessments on steep and high roofs - Evaluate exterior and interior damage - Perform underwriting property inspections - Utilize cutting-edge technology to assess property damage and prevent further harm

Requirements

- Reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting and carrying at least a 32’ ladder - Lidar equipment or the ability to obtain it (such as an iPad Pro/iPhone 12 Pro or greater) - Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams - HAAG Certification is preferred but not required

Qualifications

- Ability to safely navigate and inspect any type of roof - Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions - Strong customer service skills - Empathy when dealing with insureds - An entrepreneurial spirit - Background in roofing and construction, or relevant insurance claims experience
