Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Directs crane operator and guides members to proper location.
• Measures member locations, sets vasco pads or shims (depending on members being set).
• Guides members to location while directing crane operator with hand signals.
• Pries members with a railroad bar until member is in correct location, putting additional shims under member until plumb.
• Places pipe clamps on wall panels until panels are welded into position.
• Drills hole in foundation, hammers red in hole, places column support brace over red-head, bolts the brace to the foundation and column and then plumbs the column with the transit.
• Burns loops off the tops of columns, sets beams on top of columns and bolts beams into position and fills bolt connection with grout.
• Helps assemble, disassemble and relocate crane.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Job Specifications Or Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
