Field Project Manager & Service Technician

About the role

Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tools. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and servo control system issues. Lead and coordinate machine installations, relocations, retrofits, and major repairs. Support machine startups, commissioning activities, and production readiness evaluations. Serve as the primary on-site technical representative for the customer. Mentor and provide hands-on training to Junior Field Service Engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in machine tool or CNC manufacturing
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Experience troubleshooting servo-controlled machine systems
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience performing machine geometry and precision measurement activities
• Knowledge of CNC controls and machine performance verification
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Nice to Have

• Experience leading field installations or service projects
• Technical degree or equivalent technical training
• Experience supporting large CNC gantry mills or aerospace manufacturing equipment
• Experience with Siemens and Fanuc CNC control systems
• Laser alignment and machine geometry certification
