About the role
MEMPI's Service Center Division (SCD) is seeking a Field Project Manager I to support the execution of customer projects from quotation through completion. This role involves coordinating proposals, documentation, customer communications, and project execution while serving as a key liaison between customers, contractors, vendors, and internal MEPPI teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Serve as a liaison between customers, contractors, vendors, and internal MEPPI divisions
- Coordinate project schedules, equipment deliveries, installation activities, closeout documentation, and warranty obligations
- Direct and oversee on-site construction activities, subcontractors, and service providers during installation and commissioning activities
- Maintain project progress to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards
- Cover customer documentation submittals
- Aid in project scheduling, implementation, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance activities
- Support quoting and contract administration
- Prepare project activity reports and participate in project meetings
- Coordinate project closeout activities and ensure service and warranty commitments are successfully completed
- Represent MEPPI professionally
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another related technical field
- Zero to two years of relevant project management, engineering, construction, or technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Battery systems, IT Cooling equipment, Transmission & Distribution substation equipment, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar inverter systems, Basic understanding of project management, construction, and commissioning concepts
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Qualifications

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project
