Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform system hydraulic modeling and process modeling to identify areas of opportunity and projects for improved operational performance
- Perform compressor performance runs to ensure optimal field compression performance for operational reliability
- Manage regional gas gathering and processing and treating plant projects, field gathering projects, and other operations or commercial-derived projects meeting project scope, budget, and schedule requirements
- Implement entire project cycle for growth capital projects including: scope and design development, AFE preparation and submittals, material procurement, execution and construction oversight, commissioning, and project completion
- Work with (and guide) the Construction Group members in construction and inspection activities on engineering projects
- Communicate with stakeholders including operations personnel, cost controls, project controls, project planning, and contractors for project implementation
- Participate in PSM activities for growth projects and develop and implement PSM work, including Design reviews, PHAs, LOPAs, MOCs, training, etc.
- Ensure work complies with federal, state, and local regulations (including safety, environmental, and DOT) and internal policies and procedures
- Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen project management knowledge base and proficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Engineering Discipline (ChemE or ME preferred)
- Previous experience in Natural Gas treating, fractionation, or processing industry
- 5+ years of combined engineering, operations, and/or project experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Engineering Programs
Working Conditions
- Normal office working conditions or at the project site
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
- Overnight travel is required when necessary to manage projects
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, extreme temperature conditions, and loud machinery and require appropriate personal protective equipment
