Field Operations Technician I

About the role

Join our mission-focused team at VB Spine, a leading privately held spine company and one of the largest family-owned medical technology companies in the world. As a Field Operations Technician I in our Operations function within the Spine division, you'll play a critical role in ensuring surgical sets are fully prepared for surgery.

Responsibilities

• Physically receive and unpackage incoming inventory
• Conduct inventory, replenishment, and inspection of incoming branch surgical sets to prepare them for redistribution
• Prepare and package surgical sets for shipment to hospitals and branches
• Cooky support for nights and weekends as required
• Comply with all manufacturing procedures, training, and quality standards
• Achieve daily orders while meeting or exceeding KPI targets for quality and service
• Assist with cycle counting inventory at hospitals and office locations throughout the territory

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Knowledge of the medical device industry and hospital customer base preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and multitask effectively
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
• Physical ability to frequently use hands for handling equipment and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
