AirGarage uses datapoints like real-time occupancy, local events, weather, driver behavior, competitor pricing, and more to bring true intelligence to real estate owners’ assets for the first time. We’re investing aggressively to make the physical world legible to a digital system: cameras, sensors, and software that generate a firehose of real-time data about the world around us. That data fuels models and algorithms that allow us to optimize performance at each property while giving owners the clarity and control they’ve never had before. Before you can optimize an asset, you need to observe it. Before you can observe it, you need to bring it online. We are starting with the $131 billion US parking real estate market because it is one of the most offline and mismanaged commercial real estate asset types. 26% of the land area in the median American urban core is dedicated to parking.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned lot(s) or garage(s) on foot to check on parked vehicles (no moving of cars required)
  • Provide coverage across multiple locations within your assigned area as needed; a valid driver's license is required
  • Use AirGarage's Space Force app on your smartphone to scan license plates and verify active payment
  • Issue citations to vehicles that haven't paid through the app, and leave a physical notice on the vehicle when needed; in some markets, immobilize (boot) repeat violators
  • Help customers understand how to pay, walking them through the app as needed

Depending on your assigned location, you may also:

  • Perform occasional light trash and litter pickup around the lot
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on maintenance needs
  • Assist with hanging or moving signage (e.g., swapping A-frame graphics) at ground level
  • Help direct traffic into the lot during events and assist customers with questions or pricing

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, security, or parking operations is a plus but not required; training provided on tools and processes
  • Ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time, outdoors, in a working parking lot or garage environment
  • Must own a modern smartphone with a reliable data plan to operate the Space Force enforcement software
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned location(s)
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently without direct on-site supervision
  • Positive, professional attitude when engaging with customers and property stakeholders
  • 18+ years of age and authorized to work in the USA

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a standard background check
  • A valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check

Schedule

Daytime hours available, but schedule will lean towards holidays, nights, and weekends.
