About the role

As a Field Operations Manager, you will develop, implement, and manage field programs in partnership with channel leadership to drive parts operations, service, and warranty operations. Your role will focus on fostering a culture of high customer satisfaction (9.0+ OSAT/NPS), operational improvement, and market penetration for parts, repair services, and subscription products. You will collaborate across channels to drive adoption of digital products and services while ensuring operational scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales volumes and profitability targets for whole goods, parts, and services within assigned channel partners.
  • Engage with tools, products, and platforms to build competency and articulate business strategies, driving adoption and integration with growth initiatives.
  • Develop sales and operational support materials to raise awareness of aftermarket services.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to channel aftermarket service teams, modeling and reinforcing best practices for products, processes, tools, and programs.
  • Maintain frequent contact with channel partners and customers through in-market visits, best practice sharing, and business updates.
  • Develop and administer large-scale assessment tools and programs, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives at both macro and micro levels.
  • Use business unit reporting and enterprise warranty platforms to monitor channel partner performance against goals and operational KPIs.
  • Reinforce service policies, procedures, and compliance requirements; develop action plans as needed.
  • Lead consistent operational improvements and efficiencies across the enterprise and within channels.
  • Design, execute, and measure "best-in-class" customer experiences using industry best practices to improve OSAT/NPS.
  • Coach and drive adoption of parts, service, and digital product marketing programs in partnership with Parts and Product Marketing Management.
  • Assist in resolving escalated channel partner and end-customer product and service issues, focusing on retention, loyalty, and satisfaction.
  • Provide operational counsel and lead kaizen activities within the channel to optimize service and parts operations.
  • Partner with channel leadership and the Commercial Education and Training Team to develop talent through continuous learning for aftermarket leadership and technical teams.
  • Actively participate in trade association meetings, trade shows, conventions, and Toro business/training events.
  • Lead or participate in content development and delivery for large-scale business, divisional, or cross-functional meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a business or technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including management of service operations.
  • Strong project management skills, financial acumen, and ability to collaborate and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience designing and presenting service business and operational models.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
  • Self-starter with the ability to function with minimal supervision and think strategically.
  • Capability to adapt and drive change within Toro and its distribution network.
  • Turf industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Channel management experience is a plus.

Other Job-Related Components

  • Influence operational support and business performance of North American Parts and Service independent channel partners.
  • Domestic and international travel (North America only) up to 60% of the time, with appropriate expense reporting.
  • Must maintain an active and valid USA passport and driver’s license.
  • Frequent collaboration with Toro Service, Enterprise Operations, Quality Management, Parts Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Distributor Development, and Legal departments.
  • Onsite at Toro’s Bloomington, MN corporate headquarters 5 days a week when not traveling.
