Field Operations Leader (Service) Grid Systems

Responsibilities

• Manage field specialists and field engineers, focusing on their personal and skill development
• Grow and develop the team to enhance operational performance
• Maintain productivity levels within the field operations group
• Anticipate business development needs and create staffing plans to support growth
• Cookordinate sales and operational planning, ensuring effective resource loading and capacity planning
• Oversee field activity planning and manage business requests efficiently
• Ensure field operations comply with processes and continuously improve them based on feedback
• Supervise a 24/7 response team and manage dispatch operations as required
• Engage with customers, serving as the main escalation point to uphold high satisfaction levels
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
• Contribute to organizational strategy development to align delivery models with business objectives
• Promote EHS and ensure compliance with training and safety protocols for field personnel

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a team manager in services and operations
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or any related B.S. degree
• 5 years of experience in transmission and distribution substation engineering for utilities and renewable energy
• Field experience in electrical, mechanical, controls, and protection disciplines
