About the role
This position provides strategic oversight of field operations in the NAM region. You will lead and coordinate field service operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality customer support.
Responsibilities
- Manage the field specialists and field engineers, their personal and skill developments
- Grow and develop the team
- Maintain the field group at the expected level of productivity
- Anticipate business development and develop staffing plans to support the growth
- Sales and operational planning. Resource loading and planning
- Ensure accurate resource loading and capacity planning to meet project demands
- Manage all the business requests
- Assign missions to the field specialist based on their skills and development needs
- Find good compromises between business requirements and field specialist life balance
- Filter requests and guarantee stability to the field group
- Field process owner; guarantee that the field missions are executed as per the processes
- Improve the processes based on return of experience
- Supervise 24/7 response; Maintain rotation planning
- Make sure someone answers the calls. Dispatch calls if required
- Serve as the primary point of escalation and strategic partner for the client
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Cross function coordination - Cross-Functional collaboration between Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
- Contribute to the development of organizational strategy and policy, ensuring all delivery models align with broader business objectives
- Proactively promote EHS; Maintain Field people trained as per legal requirements
- Make sure mission risks are properly identified and mitigated
- Guarantee appropriate PPEs are provided to the field specialist
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as team manager / Prior field operations experience in Services and operations
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering or any B.S. degree with related experience
- 5 years of transmission and Distribution substation engineering for utilities and renewable energy power plants
- Field experience in electrical, mechanical, controls and protection disciplines
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and French

- Prior GE work experience in GEV GSI group

Pay
The initial pay range for this position is between $104,200.00 and $173,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Schedule
Initial preference is to identify a candidate that will work in the Houston office location. Additionally, we will consider Remote US only.
