Field Operations HV Technician III (Yellow Pine Solar)
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the inspection and maintenance of high voltage equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Collaborating with senior technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and failures within the high voltage system.
- Conducting routine tests and measurements on high voltage equipment, accurately interpreting and documenting the results.
- Assisting in the commissioning of new high voltage equipment, adhering to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Participating in the scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities, minimizing disruption to the electrical system's operation.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance and condition of high voltage equipment, promptly reporting any abnormalities or potential issues.
- Assisting in the repair and replacement of faulty high voltage components, ensuring timely restoration of power supply.
- Following established safety protocols and procedures while working with high voltage equipment, minimizing risks to yourself and others.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in high voltage technology through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
- Limited overnight or regional travel to sites as designated by your leader.
Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 1+ year
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

- Technical oversight
- Construction and maintenance of substation, transmission, and collection system equipment
- Repair of all high voltage equipment within an assigned geographical area
- Establish and maintain high voltage inventory, equipment, and vehicles within an assigned geographical area

Benefits
The estimated base pay for this position is $55,200.00 to $82,800.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
