Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate field recovery operations with employer partners and recovery teams.
  • Implement pre-defined disaster recovery activities in partnership with employer partners.
  • Access worksites for safety, timeline of projects and resources needed.
  • Manage logistics, equipment, personnel deployment, and essential supplies for recovery sites.
  • Act as the main point of contact for onsite operations and liaison with SOS+S leadership.
  • Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, quality control, debris removal, and recycling.
  • Maintain field operations spending and provide timely updates to leadership on recovery status.
  • Support disaster recovery training and exercises.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in disaster recovery, emergency response, construction management, logistics, or field operations.
  • Knowledge of worksite safety standards and environmental remediation.
  • Experience with project management software and job costing.
  • Experience leading field teams and managing physically demanding and intense outdoor work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential and sensitive nature.
