Essential Functions
- Project Administration & Accountant: Lead all administrative and financial functions for a project by assisting project teams with processes including but not limited to subcontractor agreements, insurance compliance, monthly subcontractor and owner billings, and month end project job cost audits.
- Prioritization of critical items and tasks: Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, each with its own deadlines and priorities.
- Aid in setting up all project administration documents. Create all contract documentation including subcontractor agreements once the project is handed over from our pre-construction team.
- Organize and prepare subcontractor and vendor payments to be submitted to our financial controller for payment.
- Ensure and maintain project file integrity by confirming all project required documents have been received and executed including bonds, insurance, signed subcontractors, executed change orders, licenses, lien releases, and retention.
- Assist project team with Owner and subcontractor billings monthly to ensure we are paid and our subcontractor are paid on time. Monitor accounts receivables for all projects you are assigned to and follow up with project team when receivables are past due.
- Monitor all project financials and track all project costs. Review, validate, code, and process subcontractor and project team expenses. Review and approve weekly timecards.
- Certified Payroll/Labor Compliance Management: Prepare and process certified payroll reports while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local laws for all our public works projects using LCPTracker.
- Knowledge and understanding of Skilled & Trained workforce requirements as well as Prevailing Wage & Davis Bacon laws and requirements.
- Stay current and compliant with labor laws and regulations, collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless implementation of labor requirements.
- Maintain meticulous internal employee, trade partner and payroll project records, generating regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct internal audits to identify and address discrepancies or non-compliance issues, providing necessary documentation during compliance audits to our internal project teams and trade partners.
- Train personnel's understanding of labor laws and certified payroll procedures, ensuring everyone stays up to date with the latest requirements.
