Job Description

Complete all tasks involving the manufacture and maintenance support of machines in the production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new and rebuild existing equipment.
• Set up and install equipment, upgrades, and retrofits off‑site.
• Provide training for operation of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment on and off‑site.
• Operate powered and manual hand tools.
• Perform electrical work, including reading electrical prints, replacing faulty parts, pulling and terminating wires, and troubleshooting problems.
• Install and repair pneumatic systems.
• Maintain 9514XLS, robot, and other converting equipment.
• Operate a forklift.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory; order and receive new parts.
• Train operators on new and refurbished equipment.
• Support plant improvement or facility projects as needed.
• Work overtime or irregular hours for emergency repairs when required.
• Travel to remote facilities up to 25 % of the time.
• Adhere to regular attendance and company policies, including drug‑free workplace and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Google, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Work Environment

• Standing > 75 % of the time; ability to lift 50 lb with full range of motion.
• Work from standing, kneeling, and stooping positions.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions, high or precarious places, outdoor weather, extreme cold or heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
• Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Loud noise environment; hearing protection required.
• Exposure to chemicals, inks, and coatings; appropriate personal protective equipment required.
