Field Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent/PM (Field Manager) to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will manage on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Cookordination and supervision of subcontractors and construction workers to ensure project timelines are met.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure proper execution and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to provide project updates and address concerns.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports to track project performance and progress.
• Implement best practices for safety, quality control, and project management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, specifically in commercial/ Federal Government or Historic Preservation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
