About the role
You will work traveling the United States and in countries bordering the US using cutting-edge technology as a high-impact field machinist. You will report to the field Team Manager, work nuclear outages, and operate at multiple work locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform field machining (cutting, boring, milling, facing) and electrical discharge machining (EDM) support
- Set up and operate portable machining equipment
- Execute precision measurements, alignments, and fits
- Support critical energy projects in the field
Requirements
- Hands-on machining experience (manual or portable; shop machining experience a plus)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and tolerances
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and work in demanding, hands-on environments
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must pass a stringent background and drug screen

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $25/hour to $42/hour, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
