Field Linehaul Support Rep-3
About the role
A Field Linehaul Support Rep is responsible for the dispatch of transportation equipment in accordance with the Linehaul plan. They support efforts to maximize capacity, minimize partial trailer loads and ensure service integrity for assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Executes the dispatch of transportation equipment in accordance with the Linehaul plan.
- Fulfills Linehaul dispatch and arrival rules according to defined Company procedures.
- Maximizes trailer volume while meeting package delivery obligations by dispatching cargo shipments.
- Enters dispatch events into an online system (TMS) to ensure on-time delivery and pick-up of trailers.
- Completes yard inventories to verify the location of equipment.
- Completes yard checks to verify the load/unload status of trailers and timely reports missing equipment.
- Follows and communicates safety initiatives to ensure a safety-conscious culture.
- Investigates and reports schedule delays, accidents and equipment failures and implements contingency plans to ensure on-time load delivery.
- Reviews and communicates Department of Transportation (DOT) roadside violations to management.
- Compiles and provides various regular and ad hoc reports to management for review and determination.
- Assists management with Business Control Self Assessment (BCSA) audit activity by retrieving data and/or files for review.
- Reviews trailer load condition reports (TLCR’s) to ensure proper completion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Minimum Experience: Dispatch experience is preferred.

- Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced team environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
- Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with various audiences. Ability to work productively in a team environment and effectively implement operational processes.
- Knowledge of concepts, practices, procedures and transportation regulations used in Linehaul field operations, including DOT regulations.
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

Additional Details: The Linehaul Support Rep position is for a shift from Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 AM - 10:00 AM. This position is being reposted. The position will remain open until filled.
