Field Instructor - Electrical Technology Program

About the role

This is a full-time, year-round teaching appointment in the Electrical Technology program. You will report to the Electrical Administrator and the Electrical Technology Department Head, overseeing and teaching student groups during the field training section of the program. You will also cover classroom teaching as needed.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 6:20 AM - 4:35 PM.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise students during field training.
• Cover classroom instruction as needed.
• Develop and implement lesson plans.
• Supervise students in a simulated lab environment.
• Supervise students during outdoor field work, which may include exposure to outdoor elements.
• Work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

Working Conditions

Duties are performed in classrooms, labs, and field settings. Tasks include word processing, telephone calls, emails, lecturing, and student supervision in both lab and outdoor environments.

Pay

$80,000 - $85,000 per year.
