Field Installation Technician
Job Responsibilities
- Aid with shop fabrication, assembly, and maintenance tasks.
- Cut, drill, and assemble materials such as structural aluminum, stainless steel piping, fiberglass, and PVC.
- Perform basic plumbing and mechanical tasks like cutting and gluing PVC pipes and fittings.
- Handle equipment setup, movement, and inspection.
- Use hand tools and power tools for repair, maintenance, and fabrication work.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Occasionally travel to job sites to support installation crews as needed.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Hands-on experience with basic construction, repair, or fabrication tools (e.g., hammers, wrenches, drills, saws).
- Comfortable working with materials like PVC, stainless steel, fiberglass, and wood.
- Able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Excellent safety awareness and work ethic.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
