Field Generator Technician

Requirements

• Completed High School or GED equivalent.
• Two years' experience in Electrical Components and Control Devices.
• A good driving record.
• Able to work in various climates.
• Able to work in the field for week long outings.
• Able to work an on-call schedule.
• Experience in General Generator Maintenance and Service.
• Experience in General HVAC Maintenance and Service.
• Experience in using a Laptop and operating Microsoft programs.

Qualifications

• Able to work in extreme conditions, including extreme cold, extreme heat, heavy rain, hail, snow, etc.
• Able to perform tasks requiring reaching with hands and arms, climbing, and balancing.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry material about 20% of the time.
• Able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
• Able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
