Field Fusion Technician - PVC or HDPE

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5 years of construction experience, ideally with some Fusible PVC or HDPE experience
• Experience with the construction process and methods for pipeline installation, preferred
• Effectively correspond and verbally communicate in a professional manner with general and drilling contractors and co-workers
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license, clear driving record, and able to obtain a DOT medical card with DOT physical
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision from a remote home office
• Ability to work outdoors and on-site to exacting QA/QC specifications and documentation requirements

Responsibilities

• Responsible for fusing our patented Fusible PVC® pipe by means of a thermal butt fusion technology
• Provide on-site assistance to installation contractors in a fast-paced, small company atmosphere
• Represent our company on the job site and must be able to conduct themselves professionally
• Train and assist customers with various fusion joining and field installation processes
• Travel to and from work sites with extended assignments of one to two weeks at a time
• Perform maintenance of fusion machines
• Work outdoors and on-site to exacting QA/QC specifications and documentation requirements
